Richard Burke Greene, Jr.

Richard B. Greene, Jr. of Temecula, California passed away suddenly, Tuesday morning, October 5th 2021, of heart failure.
Richard was born in Memphis, Tennessee, June 11, 1965. His parents were Richard and Evelyn Greene, who preceded him in death.
Richard was employed by Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (formally Hughes Aircraft Company), El Segundo, California for 22 years. The many friends he made at Raytheon became an extension to his personal family.
In the latter years, ‘Rich’ as they called him, worked in the Automobile Industry, throughout San Diego and Riverside County. As with Raytheon, some of his co-workers became an extension of his family as well. He really loved managing and selling cars. Richard’s easy going nature allowed him to excel in what he inspired to do.
Let’s not forget Champ loved life, and was always grateful to God for his many blessings. He was adventurous, a people lover and the most humble, genuine person you would have ever encountered. His smile and laughter was contagious. But most importantly, ‘pawpaw’ loved his grandchildren!
Richard was survived by his son Richard Jeremiah, spouse Tracey, daughters, Nicole and Lashanae, daughter (niece) Aaliyah, and daughter-in-law, Lakeisia. He is also survived by his beloved grand children, Layla, Neiko, Nasir, Nohlan, Zyaire, Hayden, Thierry, Xavier, and Renee.
He was also survived by cousins (brother) Barry, Garvin, Hope, Sharlotte, Keith, Lorenzo, John, and many cousins to follow. The Meacham Family, a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, loving relatives, family and friends.
The family has honored Richard’s request of cremation.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 – 5:00 p.m at England Family Funeral Home and Mortuary, 27135 Madison Avenue, Temecula, California, 92590 (951) 695-8555
I worked with Rich for those 22 years at Raytheon, and he was one of the finest, funniest, and enduring people I have ever known. Even after all the years that have gone by, he is missed! RIP – AWB
