Richard Muniz, son of Mary De Jesus Muniz and Guillermo Muniz was born February 23rd, 1960, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He entered heavens gates on Sunday, December 12, 2021, with his family by his side. Richard was raised in the pride of Ponce, Puerto Rico in Gandara with his three siblings, eldest brother, Guillermo Muniz Jr. And sisters Rosangeles Muniz and Maria Magdalena Muniz. Richard's life was a joyful one and an amazing story full of laughter, growth, and honor. Richard joined the United States Army at seventeen years old and later joined the United States Navy from 1982-1992 as a mines- men and military police officer, leaving with an honorary discharge for the US Border Patrol. Richard served the remaining of his working years as a Border Patrol agent, retiring from the Imperial Beach sector in 2017. Through his life he touched numerous people who became lifelong friends and family changing our perspective on what a man with integrity, loving kindness, and humbleness was meant to be. Richard didn't walk alone in his journey, but alongside him from the moment they met till today his wife Rose Muniz never left his side. Rose and Richard married June 15, 1990. Rose and Richard had four children which who they loved, eldest daughter Christina, younger daughter Kristen, eldest son Ricky and youngest son Armando. Richard also has two beautiful grandchildren, eldest Victoria-Rose and youngest, Isabella-Jade. For Richard, family was everything and found delight in being in the presence of loved ones. Richard knew Christ Jesus throughout his life, and in his last days he walked with the Lord and the Lord with him. Professing to Rose that his greatest joy in life was that all his children walked with Jesus. Richard Muniz will forever be with us in our hearts, in our minds, and alongside us in spirit. May he be in the presence of the Almighty in peace, comfort, love, and life everlasting, today, tomorrow, and forever. Please send all photos and video to Chris at: atilanochristina@hotmail.com The family is accepting flowers and would love the ones that could also be used as a Table Arrangement.

  2. My amazing cousin, who has always been a man I could count on. The smiles, laughs, dances, and memories will never fade. A man who gave me away at my wedding, who help me arrange all the details when my Dad pass. He was always there for me and my children. Thank you for life long memories. Until we meet again. Your cousin Luz Delia

  3. Thank you for keeping it real, Mano! Great memories of the short time we worked together here in Temecula and you made our assignment to Arizona bearable because of your indomitable spirit (even though I never could get the hang of “barajas!”) Until we ride the range again in heaven, Dios te cuide.
    Fair winds and following seas.

  4. Thank you for the good times and awesome memories. You always brought joy. I will always cherish the times we were out riding and acting like fools. Rest in peace my brother.

  5. Will be truly missed but not forgotten. May the Lord be your guide. With Love the Pacely’s
