Kevin Johnston

Kevin Arnold Johnston, 58, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011. A memorial service for Kevin will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at England Family Mortuary in Temecula. Kevin was born in Salina, Kansas and grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. He attended Shawnee Mission West High School and graduated from Kansas State University in 1974. Kevin was involved in the Kansas City Jaycees from 1977 to 1983. During that time he was recognized with the Brownfield Award . He served as president in 1981-82 and served as Chairman of the Board in 1982-83. Kevin worked for Greenbrier Rail in San Bernardino, California as a Controller. Kevin was an avid fan of Kansas State sports teams and followed them with great enthusiasm. Survivors include; his wife Kim, children Kelli Johnston, Ashley Butler, Aaron Paustian, Eric Paustian, and Joshua Butler. Kevin’s family also includes his father James Johnston, his sister and brother in-law Kathy and John Goudelock, and his brother and sister in-law Kirk and Kathy Johnston of Olathe, Kansas, as well as sisters Nancy (Dan) Casey and Nelda (Steven) Buckley, and many nieces and nephews. Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Johnston. Services: 2:00PM at England Family Mortuary on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 (map/driving directions)
