Lori “Loli” Jean Baker, loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, returned to her heavenly home on December 11th, 2020 at age 68. Lori was born on January 11th, 1952 in California to Ione and Robert Price. She spent most of her life in California but also lived in Colorado and South Carolina for many years, where she loved to water ski and surf. Lori will join her son, Jason and her father, Robert in heaven. Her spirit will live on through her husband, Dwight Baker; her children whom she devoted her life to, Shannon, Justin, Jesse, Brittany, and Jamie; her mother, Ione; her sister, Linda; her five grandchildren, Marriah, Alexa, Maddison, Ryan, and Gregory; her great-granddaughter, Annalise; as well as a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Lori was a creator. When her children were young, her time was spent creating extraordinary Halloween costumes, school projects, and above-and-beyond parties. Later in life, she shifted that creativity to her garden. You would often find her outside tending to her flowers and building a beautiful oasis. Whatever you asked her to do, Lori put her whole heart into it. Lori’s life was full of passion. When she had her mind set on something, there was no stopping her, whether it was creating the best diorama you ever saw or learning to ride a hoverboard at age 65. She overflowed with generosity and extended kindness and compassion to everyone she met. She loved passionately and whoever came into her life was a true blessing to her. Lori lived to comfort the heart of everyone she came across. She was selfless, she was your biggest cheerleader, she was pure love. Most of all, Lori was FUN! Her life was full of laughter, stories, and adventures. We will forever treasure the memories she gifted to us.
