Elliott Erwin 'Jack' Engstrom
 
                                    May 18, 1920 ~ July 4, 2014
Elliott ( 'Jack') Engstrom; 5/18/1920-7/4/2014 Jack was a WW2 veteran having served in the US Army 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment. He was wounded in Italy during a long and bloody campaign for which he received the well-deserved Purple Heart medal. After the war Jack finished his education then began working for the Mc Culloch Corporation, makers of chain saws. He served there as Director of Quality Assurance throughout his working career. In 1947 he married Jean Moon (nee Bovie) and adopted her daughter, Liana. Jean died in 1997 from breast cancer. Liana is living in Glendora at the present time. Both Jean and Liana,(screen name, 'Jena'), were actresses on many TV shows during the 1950s and 60s. Recently, Jack was living at his home in Lake Riverside near Aguanga, and later in Hemet, until he had a heart attack in early May of this year. He spent his last weeks at Daybreak Villa, an assisted living facility in San Marcos.
