Charles Perry Miller

Charles Perry 'Charlie' Miller returned to his heavenly home on Easter Sunday, March 27th. He left this world holding the hand of his wife of 41 years, the love of his life Sharon Parks Miller. Charlie was born on August 19, 1930 in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada one of eight children born to Frank and Elsie Miller. Charlie left home at the age of fourteen, and hired on as a farm hand. The farmer was very understanding when Charlie had a lead on collision with another tractor that first day, and he stayed on the farm for several years. Upon leaving the farm Charlie decided to get into the oil business. He built a 20 ft. trailer in his garage, not realizing that he would have to take it apart to get it out of that garage before he could drive it to the oil fields, where he drilled wells for several years. Charlie moved to the United States in 1959. In 1975 married his best friend, Sharon. In 1976 they moved to Temecula. Together they owned and operated a heavy equipment sales company and later a Temecula storage facility. Charlie and his wife spent the last 25 years or so traveling the world but mostly in the states and Canada in their motorhome making friends all over the country.
