James Emanuel Taylor Jr

Born to the late James and Dorothy Taylor Sr. on February 9th, 1961 James E Taylor Jr passed away on August 2nd, 2022.
James was a member of the Pop Warner baseball league in his youth and played basketball for South River High School where he later graduated from in 1979. He enjoyed Karate movies, Action films, and spending time with his family and friends. James was known and loved by many. He had an infectious gravity about him that would connect with others in an instant and create lifelong friendships.
He worked for Hercules Corporation in New Jersey, then became an over the road CDL truck driver following in his fathers footsteps. James enjoyed the open road.
His father, mother, son, brothers, sister and nephew Dexter P May Jr. are there waiting with open arms to welcome him home.
James is survived by his wife, Julia Pauline Jones-Taylor; 5 children, James E Taylor III (California), Shantay Johnson (New Jersey), Jamal Taylor (California), Wayne Humes (California), step-daughter Jasmine Jordan (Ohio), and 3 grandchildren James IV, Elijah, Lyani and a host of nieces and nephews.
He also is survived by his four sisters Dorothy Phillips (New York), Shelly Taylor (New Jersey,) Lisa Taylor-May (Arizona), and Deirdre Taylor-Johnson (Florida).
James has three brothers (from another mother) from his childhood in New Jersey that grew up together, hung together and stayed connected up until the day of his passing, Robert Ward Jr., Donald Moore and James Trotman. They were the true meaning of a brotherhood.
Everybody in this world knows how much you ment to me and I meant to you!! Man Bruh Why did you leave me this way? We were supposed to kick back with a bottle of Henny Rock Remenissing. Ryshaune or Lil Jimmy on the grill. Mo Diggady Too! Surviving our past exploits and looking forward to a Blessed Future 🙌🏽 I can’t speak for God. But I can make sure that your love for family. I can lend a hand and continue loving your LEGACY!!!

James no one really understood our friendship the way it really was except you and I.The ups and downs were all a part of our friendship.
