surrounded by family.
Tim was born on January 20th, 1938, to William and Cicely Sharon in San Francisco, CA. After
graduating from Notre Dame International High School in Rome, Italy, he was the first student
of that high school also to attend Notre Dame University in Indiana. Tim proceeded to earn his
bachelor's degree in business in 3.5 years, graduating in 1959.
After graduation, he landed a job at Bank of America, where he soon learned it was time for a
master’s in business. He proceeded to complete his master’s in business.
In 1962, he met Carol (Monahan) Sharon in San Francisco, and they wed in 1963, going on to

After retiring from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs in 1990, Tim and Carol recommitted
their lives to Habit for Humanity and spent the next five years traveling to Costa Rica and
Nicaragua building houses. Tim and Carol now moved into Escondido to spend their golden
years. During this time, Tim volunteered with his church, Nights of Columbus, and was on the
Red Cross emergency dispatch team going to disaster locations to assist those in need.
Throughout Tim’s life, Tim and Carol always wanted to be around family. Tim and Carol would
sponsor extraordinary vacations to Mexico, Alaska, and the Caribbean (to name a few), where
all of his Son’s and their families were invited, which created a strong family connection that has
lasted throughout the years. Tim and Carol have had an amazing life together. A life that has
