rose mazza

Rose A. Mazza (nee Sutera), originally of King of Prussia, PA, and who most recently resided in Murrieta,
CA, passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 96. Born on March 8, 1927 to the late Michael and
Frances (nee Maniscalco) Sutera, Rose was the beloved wife of the late Alfred (Al) Mazza, loving mother
of Frances (Fran) Tarlecki (Dennis) and Andrea Mazza, as well as cherished grandmother of Michael and
Brian Tarlecki, of San Diego and Los Angeles, respectively. Rose was preceded in death by her sisters
Jenny Donato, Frances DeFusco, Angela Orler and brother, Charles (Sonny) Sutera.
She lived most of her life in King of Prussia, PA, where she retired from her administrative duties at
Vimco, Inc. after many years of employment and continued to enjoy her weekly bowling outings with
friends, creating beautiful needlework pieces and reading as many romance novels as possible.
Throughout her life she was the epitome of a wonderful homemaker and took great pleasure in
preparing delicious meals and desserts.
In 2019 she relocated to Murrieta, CA with her daughter, Fran, to enjoy the beautiful southern California
weather and to be closer to her grandsons and to daughter Andrea, who resides in Las Vegas, NV.
As was her wish, Rose will be cremated in CA and her ashes will be returned to King of Prussia to rest in
Valley Forge Memorial Gardens adjacent to her husband, Al, where they will be together forever.
