Frank Gonzales

Frank “Franko” Gonzales, age 58, of Murrieta, California passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024. Franko was born January 13, 1966, in Riverside, California. He was the son of the late Margaret (Smith) Valdez, and Anthony Gonzales and adopted Mother Irene “Grams” Martinez. Frank was a Morongo Tribal Member and a stay-at-home dad. He had previously worked at Casino Morongo and Soboba Casino as a cook and on the drop team at Pechanga Casino. He enjoyed being a stay-at-home dad, as he loved taking care of his children, Bryan, Zach and Gianna. They were his world. He also loved his USC Trojans. He was looking forward to this football season, as USC was becoming a part of the Big 10 conference. He loved playing fastpitch softball for the Renegades, Thrown Together and Bryan’s Blackhawks, and on the family slow-pitch team, the Beer Nuts, bowling and cornhole. Family and friends were important to him, and he would help anyone in need.

Frank is preceded in death by his son Bryan; sisters Teresa Gonzales and Rose Gonzales; brother John “Boogie” Valdez; sister in laws Tina Placencia, Charlene Davis, and Tammy Arviso, and brother-in-law Leroy “Pinker” Hutton.

Frank is survived by his wife Patti Gonzales, children Zachery Gonzales and Gianna Gonzales; God children Serrena Kennedy, Christoper Duro, Lillyan Valenzuela, and Krystal Ozuna; mother in law Judy Arviso; father in law Leroy “Pinky” Hutton; brothers Martin “Dingus” Valdez Sr, Gary Placencia (Tina), Glen Placencia (Ronda), Gordon Placencia (Juanita), Patrick Placencia (Tara), Joe Rodriguez, Rusty Weiss, Tommy Melendez; sisters Jeaniann Espinoza, Veronica “Ronnie” Espinoza, Fatima “Timo” Gonzales, Judy Gonzales, Juanita Gonzales, Rebecca Gonzales, Joyce Placencia, Lois Placencia, Doris Placencia, Maria Placencia, Sister in laws Kristie Arviso, Amy Arviso, Sarah Arviso, brother in law Jimmy (Margaret) Neeley and many, many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was loved and will be greatly missed by all. Fight On!!
