Daveleen “Iki” Fanene
Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend

Daveleen “Iki” Fanene, of Temecula, California, passed away peacefully surrounded with love. She was born on October 6, 1953, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was 71 years old.

A devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Iki lived her faith daily through quiet strength, deep compassion, and selfless service. She was a shining example of Christlike love, always ready with an open heart, a warm smile, and helping hands for anyone in need.

She was married to the love of her life, Lynn Fanene, Sr., for 51 beautiful years until his passing in 2023. Together, they raised four children who continue to carry on their legacy of love and faith: D’Lynn (Brian), Maggie (Wayne), Lynn Jr. (Jessica), and Wally (Scarlet). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to seven grandchildren who brought her endless joy.

Iki and Lynn built their life in Temecula, California, where they lived for more than 35 years. She worked for many years as a custodian with the Temecula Valley Unified School District, where she was known for her incredible work ethic, kindness, and joyful spirit.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lynn, and her son-in- law, Wayne. Her legacy of faith, love, and service lives on in her children, grandchildren, and all who had the blessing of knowing her.

A celebration of Iki’s life will be held at 44650 La Paz Road, Temecula, Ca. 92592 on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Public Viewing will be from 8:30am – 10am with service to start at 11.
