Angelina Diane Catamen

Angelina Diane Catamen, also known as Tita Angie, passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born in Fremont, Ca., to Avelino Catamen Sr and Nettie Segundo on February 19, 1959. She was the eldest of four siblings. She attended Old St. Mary's catholic school in Oakland and graduated from Oakland Technical High School. She attended Nursing School in Berkeley to become a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked for a short time at Prather Convalescent home in Alameda, Ca. A resident of Hercules for over 7years she moved to her Mother Nettieās homeland on Los Coyotes Reservation in Warner Springs, Ca. She worked with the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeno Indians for over 10 years as a Tribal Secretary.
Angelina Catamen is survived by her Daughter Alvina Fletcher, Grandson Kerry Goodwin Jr., Mother Nettie Catamen, and her siblings Kathryn Lagdamen, Ardella Viray and Avelino "Benji" Catamen Jr., along with many Nieces and Nephews that loved her.
Angelina had many passions including making her delicious Traditional Filipino dishes Lumpia and Pancit for all of her family and friends events. She also took Pride in Crocheting beautiful blankets for her family especially the kids.
Angie was a Loving, Caring Selfless person who was a devoted mother and Na-Na. And the Best Mom and Tita (Aunt) to us all. We will remember her laugh and beautiful smile. She will be missed dearly.
