Temecula resident, Arthur 'Art' James, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 2, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons Arthur, Jr. and David (his wife Pam); and daughter Beth (husband Eric). Arthur was buried at Temecula Cemetery on Thursday, October 7. He was a retired Pastor and will be greatly missed. A memorial service was held at Beachpoint Church in Fountain Valley, CA on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 1:00. Art was one of the kindest, gentlest, most compassionate and righteous man I ever knew. He was always so full of joy for our Savior Jesus. Surely he is walking in Paradise with our Lord and wearing a Crown of glory for all the lives he touched while on Earth. I look forward to seeing Art again “at the Mansion” when my time to go Home has come.
What an honor it was to serve your family! Every now and then a family comes along that more than blesses my life and your family more than blessed my life. Though I did not know Art, I could tell by the pictures you put together for the DVD that he was a man filled with love and life. May God continue to wrap His arms of love around each of you.
