Betsey Patterson , of Canyon Lake CA, died at 11:15pm, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her home. She was born January 5, 1941 in Washington DC, to Dorothy & George Shipley. Betsey was a long time resident of Mission Viejo, Ca where she lived since leaving her childhood home Silver Spring, Maryland. She graduated from Blair High School in Silver Spring Maryland, then attended the University of Maryland. Betsey is survived by her husband of 18 years Robert Corvin, Mother Dorothy Brown of Takoma Park Maryland; a brother Morgan Shipley of Sherppards Town West Virginia; sister Kay Meyer of German Town Maryland; two sons, Glenn Fidler of Front Royal Virginia, and Geoffrey Norton of Canyon Lake, CA; and Seven grandchildren Brittany, Maeve, Eoin, Geoffrey, Brenna, Lilly and Grant; The family wishes to acknowledge all the love & support they have recieved. Betsey was and has blessed many along her journey.
