Brandon San Juan Gosiengfiao, 64, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025. Born on June 3, 1961, in San Francisco, California, Brandon spent most of his life in the Bay Area before moving to Temecula, California, in December 1999, where he and his family built a new chapter together.

Brandon lived a deeply meaningful life rooted in his strong Christian faith. He was a godly man, truly loved and admired, who walked in love, humility, and integrity. His faith shaped the way he loved his family, served others, and carried himself through every season of life.

Brandon was a respected and accomplished Senior Engineer in Supply Development Quality at Abbott, with over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. He began his career at Guidant—now known as Abbott—in 2001 and went on to work for several leading companies, including Boston Scientific, Cameron Health, CareFusion, Cardinal Health, and St. Jude Medical, which eventually became Abbott. He remained at Abbott, further contributing his expertise in atrial fibrillation technologies in Irvine, California.

A proud graduate of San José State University, Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science in Management and Industrial Technology in 1989. His commitment to lifelong learning was evident in his professional credentials: he became a Certified Quality Engineer through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) in 2013 and earned his Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University the same year.

Brandon was not only a practitioner but a teacher—sharing his knowledge as a volunteer presenter for the Temecula Valley and San Diego chapters of ASQ. His talks on FDA compliance, supplier audits, and reprocess validations helped guide and inspire others in the field. He held five U.S. patents for innovations in cardiac guide wire design and contributed to the Handbook of Technology Management with published work on Statistical Process Control.

Outside of work, Brandon lived a life full of passion, joy, and connection. A devoted car enthusiast, he was an active member of several Audi clubs across Southern California and San Diego, regularly attending weekend car events with his best friends and family. His enthusiasm for cars was matched by his deep love for music—especially on vinyl. Brandon curated a rich collection of records spanning 60s, 70s, and 80s R&B, jazz, modern soul, and more. He shared this love through his “Vibin on Vinyl” TikTok account, building a meaningful community through music, nostalgia, and joy.

In recent years, Brandon returned to cycling, a sport he had enjoyed before fatherhood. He and his wife Jeannie would ride together along the scenic routes of Temecula, enjoying both the movement and the time spent in each other’s company.

More than anything, Brandon was a devoted husband and father, the center of his world being his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jeannie, and their two daughters, Alexandra and Izabella.

Brandon was a kid at heart, with a joyful, childlike faith that never wavered—bringing wonder, lightness, and sincere delight to every aspect of his life.

He is also survived by his siblings:

• His brother Rudy Gosiengfiao and wife Christine, and their son Christian

• His brother Ingemar Gosiengfiao and wife Jenny, and niece, nephew Nina and Bradley

• His sister Bettina Cruz and husband Silvino, and their children Chandler, Miles, and Allyson

He is also survived by his extended family:

• His brother- and sister-in-law Butch and Carol Rastrullo, and their son Jonathan and his wife, Angela

• His sister-in-law Juliette Okada, and her sons Reid and Cole

• His beloved mother-in-law, Adelina Gatts

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elizabeth (who passed 3 years ago) and Rodolfo Gosiengfiao (who passed 20 years ago).

Brandon was a man most admired and cherished by his family and friends. Known as the most generous and genuine human being—always positive, always welcoming—he chose love every single day and brought true light to all who knew him. As a devoted husband and father, his legacy of love lives on. Beyond titles or accomplishments, he was simply the best part of so many people’s lives. Though his wife and daughters heavily mourn his loving presence, they know his spirit will always be with them forever in their hearts.

His life was a reflection of God’s love—steadfast, generous, and full of grace. His faith was not only believed, but lived, and it touched everyone

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
— Ephesians 4:2–3 (NIV)
