Guestbook

  1. I meet Bryan in 07’ and we quickly became good friends. I attended his wedding and we kept in touch over the years, especially during the holidays by sharing family pictures. This year I changed employer and somehow we ended up in the same project for a few weeks. We went to lunch on several occasions and he told me everything about the project. I was happy to see him again and I told him so. He only looked at me, didn’t say anything, then he smiled. I told him, come on “blondie you know your happy to. (Blondie is the nickname I gave him after a Clint Eastwood movie).

    I miss my friend

  2. I only met Bryan on this project and I was highly impressed by his grab the bull by the horns approach to most everything we do.
I have a memory of him operating a TBM on this project for the first time and getting the it stuck, and then unstuck. Keep in mind that Traylor doesn’t just let anyone operate their TBM’s, when they do hire a TBM operator he is a seasoned operator. Even though they hire trained professionals the new seasoned operator spends a couple of weeks with one of the typical operators to get a feel for the machine and ground conditions. TBM operating in no picnic. The day shift operator called in sick that day and with a moment notice Bryan drop everything to go operate the TBM. The first few rings were tough and he even got the machine stuck, but he pulled the machine back a little and got her going and away we went. He operated the TBM for the next few days with no problems. That is when I decided that he was the kind of person we need on these jobs and that he was someone I would go anywhere and do anything with. My kind of guy!!
RIP Brother you will be sorely missed

  3. I only recently had the privilege to meet Bryan through the outfitting of his beloved Humvee. We quickly connected on mutual enjoyment of outdoors, horsepower, equipment operating and family values. I always enjoyed talking with him about his build, projects at home and his very interesting experiences operating TBM’s. A friendship quickly grew from our interaction. I had the honor of meeting the rest of the family when they accompanied Bryan to the shop to drop of the Humvee for service. Such a beautiful family with the sweetest pair of girls and Alissa a solid mother, and wife with a great personality to match Bryan’s. I was floored to hear about the loss of “one of the good guys” RIP sir I was blessed to cross paths with you.

  4. I remember when he let me drive his golfcart down to the mail box. I drove straight onto the sidewalk and got stuck. He very sweetly, came down and helped me turn it around shaking his head and telling me that you’re not supposed to drive on the sidewalk.:heart:

  5. I served on the U.S.S. George Washington with Bryan. He had a sense of humor that keep you going. We would all look forward to getting him aggravated to watch him storm around and crack jokes on everyone. If someone got him he would sit back and wait for his opportunity to get them back. I’ve seen him rivet someone’s locker closed so they could not get into it. I’ve seen him glue locks shut so you were unable to get into your locker. He always had something to say or do that have you laugh. He will be sorely missed. I wished that I could have keep in touch with him over the years. I believe the last I saw him in person was in 2003. I seen him on a documentary about tunnel drilling some years later. I’m sorry for the families loss. He was a great human being. Miss you boats. Rest easy.

  6. My kids lovingly called him ‘the wild Bryan’ because of all the fun big boy toys he took them for rides in all through the neighborhood.

  7. sorry this came as shocker… I met Bryan when he first joined the navy.. I served with him on the uss george Washington cvn 73… he was one of a kind always bringing laughs to the guys… specially once he made SAR swimmer… during drills you would see his long legs sprinting with his wetsuit and his equipment bag getting to the rib boat to get lowered for the search n rescue.. I always wondered where he had gone I know I was hoping to run across him out here or on social media.. but never had the chance… his heart of gold will be missed..
