Charlotte (Serino) Vetack passed away peacefully on August 19, 2022 in Temecula, California. She was 88 years old.

Charlotte was born on December 26, 1933 in West Pittston, PA to the late Fred and Jennie Fruschante Serino. In 1956, she married Gerald Vetack and moved to New Jersey, where they raised their family. In 1979, they moved to Tempe, AZ as a result of a job transfer. Charlotte and Jerry opened their own business, Universal Quartz, in 1987 in southern California where they lived for the rest of their lives. Over the course of their 60-year marriage, they loved to travel together, which included trips to Hawaii, Alaska, Yellowstone National Park, Las Vegas, Big Bear, Canada, and annual trips to Delaware.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony, James, Fred, and Frank Serino; sisters, Rose Cefalo, Florence Phillips, Eleanor Angeli and Louise Dashnaw; daughter-in-law April Woods; and great grandson Andrew Vetack.

Charlotte will be dearly missed by her son, Gerald Jr. (Minette) of Temecula, CA; her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Mark Brainard of Newark, DE; three grandchildren, Jason Vetack, Mark G. Brainard (Tom), Bridget Brainard Jameson (Tanner); and a great grandson, Tyler Vetack. Also surviving are her sister, Palma Serino, of West Pittston; sisters-in-law, Jean Talipan and Margie Vetack, of Pittston, PA, Barbara Vetack of Victorville, CA; and many special nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, October 14 at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark DE at 10:00am. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00am. Burial will be immediately following at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.
