Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Chris was such a sweet, smart, funny all around great person. One of the best memories I have with him is when his beautiful baby girl Mia was born. Chris and I were coaches together for my sister Candice, he was so nervous but kept it together and did an amazing job. Right after my niece was born we both walked over to where she was laying naked on a warmer, I put my arm around him and said “Look what you did? And he said “Meegs, thank you for being here today, I don’t know if we would have made it without your help, I was scared. That warmed my heart, being his teammate was an honor. The fact that they both allowed me to be a part of their day will forever hold a special place in my heart. Right next to knowing Chris. May he Rest In Peace. Fly high Chris.

  2. Dear Opal, I remember your son coming to our home with the boys that hung out together. Always a kind and loving Chris. All of those that had moments in this life will miss him so much. Our love and comfort for you Opal always :heavy_heart_exclamation_mark_ornament:

  3. Holding Christopher in my arms when he was a baby and watching him grow to become a man. He will have a place in my heart forever. I love you Chris.

  4. My favorite memory of Chris was when he’d come over the house after school with Lenny n rant n rave over having a homemade snack …lol mostly the snacks consisted of bean burritos…he appreciated the little things in life. Son the world will not be the same without you …

  5. My first love, I promise I will share all of the good memories and stories of our life with our daughter. I will make sure she knows how much you loved her, and I promise I will take care of her. I will remind her how when I was 22, you used to wait until I was done at my work shift, just so you could walk me to my car and make sure I was safe. I’ll make sure she knows how much work you put into making the perfect funeral video for my grandpa, at a time when the rest of us were lost in grief. And how when I broke my ankle outside when she was a baby, you scooped me up and took care of me and then took care of her even after working 16 hours and being exhausted. How you used to ask me to dance in the kitchen with no music, just because. Be at peace, Chris. Don’t worry about Mia- I’ve got this.

  6. Opal and Dean

  7. Opal and Dean

Chris was a sweet and fun loving child. The girls remember him fondly. Know that I’m sending hugs and kisses to you each and everyday. There are no words at this time that will take this pain away. Know that Auntie Jo has greeted him with open arms and will guide him on his path to eternal happiness. There are plenty of angels in heaven to help him find his way. Even though he has left us long before we were ready to let him go, he will always walk beside you as an angel. Be strong and I will see you soon.

    Love You Cheryl

  8. Opal, Dean & Jason,
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Although I didn’t get the chance to know Chris like I did Jason when Josh (Searl) was hanging out with them during their middle school and high school years. Josh always spoke about how much he enjoyed being with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, may God bless you during this difficult time, my heart goes out to all of you and especially you Opal to you as a mother to mother <3
