Corazon Panlilio Vital, known to her family and friends as Cora or Zon, age 73 journeyed into eternal life on the first day of Spring, March 20, 2014, at her home in Temecula, California. She was born on June 23, 1940 in Pampanga, Philippines. Corazon graduated from Pampanga High School in 1958 where she and her husband, David, met. They tied the knot in 1969 and were happily married for 45 years. She was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for being soft-spoken, sweet, and always ready with a smile. She was giving to others, had a caring and gentle spirit, and was truly the corazon (heart) of our family. Corazon leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, David; her children Jean, Dennis and Maida; sons-in-law Odie and Francis; daughter-in-law Rhoda; grandchildren Lance, Marell, Nicholas, Michaela, Samantha, Deniel and Daphne; sisters Josefina and Marilou; and brothers Nicandro and Francisco. She will be laid to rest in Pampanga, Philippines. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy, comforting words, prayers and all expressions of kindness and concern.
