Danilo Torres Cachuela

Danilo "Danny" Torres Cachuela, an avid rock-n-roller and Elvis Presley’s number one fan, passed away at his home in Temecula, California at the age of 76, on the evening of Thursday June 13, 2019.
He was the second born of seven to Catalina Torres and Eduardo Cachuela Sr. of Cavite City, Philippines, on July 1, 1942. Danilo traveled all over the world from the Philippines to Cuba, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and everywhere in the United States.
He met his wife, Angelina, while working together at Subic Bay Naval Base and married one year later. He held various jobs from lifeguarding to transportation agent and security officer to nurse assistant. His one consistent career, however, was to embody his idol, Elvis Presley, by passionately singing all of his songs, wearing the finest of leather jackets, and upholding the highest standards of swagger. Danny enjoyed karaoke, fishing, and playing Mahjong with his family and compadres.
He was iron-willed, tenacious and loving, but above all, proud of all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his wife, Angelina Jueco Cachuela, 4 children, daughters, Maria Mildred Maclang, Danielle Marie (Kent) Santos, and Liza Marie (Radolfo Jr.) Samonte, and only son, Dennis (Lorie Diaz) Cachuela, 14 grandchildren, Jemille Adrienne (Nestor Jr.), Darielle Marie, Jeninne Angeline Mild (Chester), Jeffrie Aleona Mari, Aaron Jordan Elvis, Rylan Jared, Lorenz Darell, Julliene Aina Maj, Adrian Joshua, Dwayne Leonard, Jermione Anjeanette, Jefferson Aldrich, Meek Adriel Jaz, and Deron Jace, and 3 great grandchildren, Nathaniel James, Nicolo Joseph, and Candice Antoinette. He is also survived by his six siblings Mercedita, Orlando, Ruben, Nancita, Eduardo Jr, Cynthia, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Catalina and Eduardo Cachuela Sr., and son-in-law, Jefferson Maclang (husband to his eldest daughter Maria Mildred).
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation, the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during these times of bereavement. May God bless and keep you!
