On Thursday, June 23, 2022 we lost our beloved David. A son, brother, father, husband, cousin, uncle and an awesome friend.  Our hearts are broken.
Our only consolation is that he is in a safe place, surrounded grandparents and other beloved family members.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. DAVID WAS A WONDERFUL NEPHEW! Christian and he had a wonderful relationship.
    I will miss him terribly.
My prayers and my love to Frank, Patti and Janice Michelle and rest of family.

  2. “Just a Memory Away– I’m no longer by your side, but there’s no need to weep; I’ve left sweet recollections I’m hoping you will keep.
Eternal joy and memories stay in our hearts forever, strengthning our special bond that parting cannot sever.
Now it’s time to journey on–so let your faith be strong, for I am in a better place–I’m home where I belong.
And if times of loneliness bring sorrow and dismay, don’t despair, for I am there–just a memory away.”

Your gift of bringing fun and joy to the lives of family and friends. Love always, Aunt Jan

  3. Frank, Patty, Janice and all – my heart goes out to all of you. I will be there Tuesday to give you each a big hug.
    Love, Kevin

  4. I feel pretty terrible about David passing and want to express my sympathy to Frank, Patti, and Janice.
My consolation is his Aunt Max and Uncle Wally are there to welcome him home as are the rest of his family that have passed before him.

  5. I met Dave in Ginza, Tokyo in 2014 and my wife Trish and I have cherished his friendship since. His generosity and good nature stand out when thinking of him. A gem of a person who will be missed dearly. Condolences to family and other friends, words are failing us right now…

  6. So sorry for this loss. Rex Jackson (Frank’s first cousin) and Krista Jackson, Wichita KS

  7. Our deepest condolences to Dorothy, Morgan, Frank and Patti and David’s family and friends who were fortunate enough to know the amazing character he was. Although those who love and miss him are heartbroken, we are blessed in the promise that we’ll all be together again. Hold tight to the sweet memories of having him in your lives.
    God Bless,
    Greg and Barb

  8. Dave was Scott & I’s long time friend (Scott knew him longer since they worked together as police officers). As soon as I met him, I knew we’d be forever friends. I bet most people can agree. There will be a hole in our hearts and our lives not having him here but he will always live on in our memories, wonderful ones, at that! Our deepest & most heartfelt condolences to Dorothy & the rest of Dave’s family.

  9. We wish to God this wasn’t actually happening. Dave was Scott & I’s longtime friend (he’s known Scott longer as they first met as police officers). I knew as soon as I met Dave (over 22 years ago), I loved him. I bet most of us agree. There will be a hole in our hearts & in our lives as we will always miss him. Dave will live on forever as some of the best memories of our lives were shared with him. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to Dorothy and the rest of Dave’s family.

  10. I met Dave in a law enforcement course in 1993. We instantly became friends and always kept in touch even when he was living in other countries with his busy pilot career. I’m still in shock that my pal of 29 years is no longer with us. Many fond memories with him. My prayers to Dorothy, Frank and Patti, Janice, Morgan and all those who knew and loved him. I miss you brother.

  11. Dave was one of those friends that once you met, there was a feeling of “foreverness”. I’m so thankful that our life paths merged and remain merged forever! Dave strolled into the hangar at Sun Air prior to my move to the Philippines and said “you’d better brush up on your Tagalog”. Another fond memory was flying N2020Q to Kazakstan with Dave, Paul, and Scott Flyte for the owner to observe the launch of a Russian ISS shuttle. Quite the adventure!
Our hearts are broken as our minds attempt to find answers to this inconceivable loss. Our prayers for peace and love go out to Dorothy and all Dave’s family and friends.
Rest in God’s great love my brother.

  12. Dave was a friend of mine for nearly 20 years. We met at my house at a BBQ I was hosting. He was dating a Bartender from Sidelines at the time. We hit it off at the BBQ and were close friends ever since. Dave was a great man. He’d give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. He will be missed.
