Diane Louise Donohue August 6, 1959 to February 27, 2022: Age 62. Resident of Menifee, CA: 32 years. Born in The Bronx, New York to parents Evalyn Passaro and Armand Passaro. Diane Louise Passaro grew up in The Bronx, New York with family and her beloved Aunt Louise Di Modica absorbing all the love and spiritual nurturing they gave her. At age 14, Diane and her family moved to Lake Riviera, New Jersey and Diane made lifelong friends throughout her school years. She participated in chorus and theatre during high school and was always a top student on the honor roll. Diane continued her education in college further gaining knowledge and understanding of life and her goals. Diane met her lasting love and life partner, Tom Donohue, in 1982. Diane and Tom moved to Southern California and were married April 5, 1986 in Hermosa Beach CA. For 40 years, Diane and Tom shared their lives together, loving, learning, raising family and enjoying life. Diane touched so many lives along the way and lived a life of love and compassion. Diane looked at life as a school that we can all learn from and she was a true lifelong learner. She was kind, understanding, and always had the upmost empathy in life and above all loving. She made time to volunteer with schools, sports, scouts, activities, and was always willing to help. She helped with school tutoring and teaching programs, and even started her own home school through requests of other parents. Her understanding and nurturing character were second nature and part of her life’s commitment to helping others. It is with great sadness that we announce that our earth’s angel was called to heaven to further her mission on Sunday February 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Evalyn Passaro and Armand Passaro. Diane was loved and cherished by many people. She is survived by Husband Tom Donohue, Sons TJ Donohue and Steven Donohue. Daughter in love Alicia Donohue and Grandson Liam Donohue, all of CA. Brother Steve Passaro of FL and Sister Victoria Lord Friel of CA. We are all more enlightened and better people for knowing Diane Donohue in life, and we pray she continues to shine down her love upon our lives. The celebration of life service will be determined and shared at a later date.

  1. My deepest and most sincere sympathies go out to Tom, the boys and the rest of Diane’s family. Diane loved her family more than anything. She loved life also, and lived every moment to the fullest. She spread her knowledge, compassion and love throughout each day of her life with everyone she came in contact with.
I will forever be grateful that she was in my life.
May God’s Bless her soul and give strength and courage to Tom, TJ and Steven in the days ahead.
    To Diane, “Ciao Bella!” XO
