Eleanore was born: June 6 1921, to Clyde and Myrtle Campbell, growing up in the Los Angeles area. She graduated from Fremont High School, meeting her future husband, Donald Smith, while in school. They married in 1941 and enjoyed almost 60 years of marriage until his death in 2000. She is survived by her daughters, Diana and Pamela; grandchildren Deborah, Julie and Katherine; and great-grandchildren Michael, Austin, Isabella, and Jackson; and great-great grandchild James. Eleanore is predeceased by her parents, sisters Dorothy, Lea, and Betty, and grandson, Christopher. Eleanore enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She was a homemaker for 58 years. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters.
