Francisco Gonzalez

Francisco Gonzalez Jr., age 42, passed away on January 20, 2020. Frank was born July 23, 1977, to Teresa and Francisco Gonzalez Sr. After graduating high school Frank enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Soon after he married his high school sweetheart, Juanita and they started their family. He later re-enlisted after 9/11 because of his sense of duty and love for his country and fellow USMC brothers. He went on many deployments and was part of many adventures but nothing was more important to him than his family. His daughters, Iraidita, Gigi, Evie meant the world to him. He enjoyed all the typical dad things like teaching Iraida how to drive, taking Gigi to Hula, and taking our little Evie on playdates. He took special care to raise them in his Catholic and Christian faith. He taught them many things but the most important was to serve others without seeking anything in return. Frank retired from the Marine Corps in 2012 and became an Electrician. He served our church, The Bridge. He volunteered with Paws for Vets. He loved the Grand Canyon and was an annual donor of the preserve. He loved his wife, Juanita, his daughters, Iraidita, Gigi, Evie, his parents Teresa and Francisco, siblings, Liz, Edgar, and Oscar, as well as his entire family. He had a soft spot for his beloved Luna, his four-legged companion. The church service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at England Family Mortuary 27135 Madison Ave, Temecula CA 92592 from 5 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be the following day on January 23, 2020, at the Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside CA 92518 at 11:30 am.
