Frank Holzer, a devoted family man, dedicated building engineer, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the age of 90.

Born on June 19, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to Eva and Michael Holzer, Frank grew up with a strong foundation of family and a powerful work ethic that would define his life. He proudly served as a Building Engineer and Landlord for decades, a career that showcased his strength, ingenuity, and hardworking nature. Frank was a tireless worker and a good provider, ensuring his family always had what they needed.

Frank’s life took its most meaningful turn on August 18, 1956, when he married the love of his life, Carole. They built a beautiful, happy life together until her passing in 2010. Their enduring partnership resulted in four cherished children: Eva, Joyce, Frank, and Jane.

Frank was a man of quiet strength—stoic yet deeply loving. He found immense joy in the simple, fulfilling pleasures of life. His passions included gardening, especially his flowers, and watching birds. He was a dedicated outdoorsman who loved hiking, camping, boating, and sailing, with countless happy memories made at the family cottage on Long Lake. He was a dedicated member of the Belgium club and American Legion post and enjoyed bowling and spending time with his friends. Frank was an enthusiastic and passionate fan of the Chicago Bears.

Frank’s legacy is carried on through his devoted family. He is survived by his four children, Eva, Joyce, Frank, and Jane; his seven grandchildren, Matthew, Melissa, Christopher, Brittni, Keenan, Austin, and Amber; and his six great-grandchildren, Cadence, Aubrey, Paxton, Elliot, Tatum, and Wyatt. Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carole, and his three brothers, Mike, Werner, and Don.

Frank will be remembered as a strong and dedicated man who gave everything to his family and faced the world with quiet dignity.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank’s name to Hospice of the Valley, 41391 Kalmia St., Murrieta, Ca 92562.
