A memorial service for Gladys West, 94, will be Saturday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m. at Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Murrieta, Calif. (23560 Jefferson Ave.), preceded by a 10:00 a.m. graveside service at El Camino Memorial Park, 9450 Carroll Canyon Rd., San Diego. Gladys, a long time resident of National City, was retired from the County of San Diego, and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Chula Vista. She died Thursday, September 27th with family at her side in Temecula, Calif. She is survived by 3 daughters, Jacqueline J. Logston of San Diego, Geraldine L. Gauch and Nancy J. Carlton both of Temecula; 1 sister, Miriam Irwin (99) and one brother, Lester Moore (96) both of Abilene, KS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Jarrill West, and her two sons, Perry L. West and Jarrill E. West.
