My deepest condolences to the family of John Alan Cramer. I am a good friend of John’s wife, Joyce. I never met Jack in person, but through conversations with Joyce, I knew he was a great husband and father. I had an opportunity to hear a lot about Jack’s illustrious career while playing a round of golf with Joyce last year. He was well respected in his profession, with a great deal of expertise. Due to his expertise, experience, and qualifications he advanced to the highest level within his field. Joyce loved him so very much and they were an adventurous couple, enjoying life together.
May God bless Joyce and the entire Cramer family and be comforted by the love and prayers of their many friends.
In Sympathy,
Patria Carter

After a myriad of serious illnesses, some aggravated by the stress of his high-powered profession, this indomitable native of New York and retired engineer passed away surrounded by his adoring family.
Many of us knew Jack through his spunky wife Joyce, though who could avoid becoming attached after meeting him at Halloween parties and other social opportunities? His creative, home-hewn costumes brought belly laughs, and his razor-sharp Brooklyn accent and wit boomed through the crowd.
And what a story-teller! Jack possessed a natural writing talent, which he recently put into short stories about his youth as the son of a New York cop. Misadventures involving the mighty Spaldeen and serving as an altar boy sent me into stitches. His enduring love for his childhood sweetheart came through loud and clear.
Jack was a good friend, a character with a gigantic heart who showed deep love and sympathy for others. I am missing him already. I hope his family will be comforted by the warm feelings his friends express for their cherished husband, father and grandfather. Condolences to Joyce and his children.
I really enjoyed working with Jack, playing golf with Jack, and knowing him at Sundstrand.
A very fine gentleman.
Jack was an amazing mentor at Sundstrand. He taught me the importance of looking at situations from all perspectives, even from those with whom we may disagree. Great man.
