You were a light and love in our kitchen. Your undeniable levity was something we cannot replicate.

Every time I look in the pass, the window where you’re supposed to be, I still cannot fathom you never being there again… So I avoid it.

I know you’re here in my heart. I have dreams about work and you’re still in my mind. I know you’re gone, but I still hope to see you again. We had laughter, love, and life.

You cooked with your heart. You held every coworker around you in such high regard.

I never got to go to emo night with you.
Add it to one of my biggest regrets…
When I go alone, soon, I’ll think of what it would be like to see your smile and have you around me – what new friends would you have made? What new smiles would you have brought to my face?
…I don’t have those answers. I’m bereft. I’m empty, and most importantly… I miss you and see you every day, a ghost of promises, at work.

Brother, I’m sorry for the time lost.
But I promise to live with your smile, joy, and memory every day.

I’m so sorry to your family. I cannot imagine the magnitude of their loss.
