Kevin Michael Aquino, 64 years, of Winchester, California and member of St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2025.

Born on November 3, 1961, at Johnson Air Force Base, Japan.  He was a beloved son of the late Albert and Consuelo Aquino, caring brother, and a shining light to all who knew him. He lived a life marked by joy, music, and an unwavering faith in God.  Kevin graduated in 1979 from St. Louis High School, Honolulu, Hawai’i and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Hawai’i, Manōa, Hawai’i in 1984.

From a young age, Kevin proved to be a truly gifted musician and singer.  His soulful performances at note-worthy community events, hotels, restaurants, local venues, church celebrations, and family gatherings brought happiness to countless people. Kevin was a “Star Trekkie” and an avid supporter of the L.A. Lakers and Dodgers.  His great sense of humor and infectious laugh were legendary, and he could always be counted on to lighten any situation.

Kevin was a man of many talents and trades throughout his working career. His greatest passion was teaching English as a Second Language to children in Indonesia, which brought him the greatest joy.  As a teacher, he made a lasting impression on their hearts and minds as he did with anyone he encountered.  Although he is preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his

  • Siblings: Therese Fox (Donald Fox), Karen Aquino-Chang (Christopher Chang), Kim Aquino, and Kay Kale (Thomas Kale)
  • Nieces and Nephews: Nicole Fox, Natasha Fox-Martins, Matthew Fox, Mark Fox, Ryan Chang, Reece Chang, and Isaiah Kale

While we grieve his passing, we find solace in the hope of Christ’s resurrection and the assurance that he now rests in the arms of the Savior, free from pain and sorrow, rejoicing in the presence of the Almighty. His legacy of love, laughter, music and faith will live on forever.

Family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Kevin’s life.

  • Funeral Mass will take place at St Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, Winchester, CA, 92596 at 2 pm, on Monday, December 1, 2025,
  • Interment is on Tuesday, December 2, at 10:00 am, San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA 92583
