Leocadia "Lily" Barte Amora, 61, of Murrieta, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2021, with her family by her side. Lily was born to the late Rufino P. Barte and Nenita dela Cruz Barte on December 9, 1959 in Imus, Cavite, Philippines. She grew up in a big family with 7 brothers and 1 sister. She was known for her beauty, smile and infectious laugh. She was also a hardworking and strong woman. Even through her many chemo treatments, she always wanted to keep working. While she enjoyed watching her game shows, HGTV and Filipino soap operas, she was not one to sit at home. Lily was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family and friends were everything to her. She valued spending quality time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. Whether it was a family get together, party, concert, eating at her favorite restaurant or hanging out at the beach with her husband, she always enjoyed every moment. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Teofanes, her 5 children, Pam, Sue, Tyrone, Bryan and Darren, 4 grandchildren and her extended stepfamily in the Philippines. A memorial service will be held at St. Martha's Catholic Church, Murrieta, CA on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Interment will follow in the Murrieta Cemetery District.
