Malcolm Carter, 72, of Hucknall, England, passed away on February 10, 2022, in Menifee, California. Malcolm was born in Hucknall to George and Madge Carter (nee Gilbert) on January 19, 1950. He went to the Beckett School at West Bridgeford. Malcolm fell in love with and later married Linda Atherley on March 4, 1972, in Calverton, England. They both moved to the US in 1986, where he continued his work as a computer programmer, information technologist, and was a wonderful husband, father, and grandad. Linda and Malcolm spent over 50 years in love, and during this time, they had five children and ten grandchildren. After retiring, Malcolm spent his days reading, studying genealogy, and playing with his grandkids. Malcolm is preceded in death by his parents and his youngest daughter, Abby May Carter. Malcolm is survived by Linda Carter, Ella & Jim Leonard, Faye Carter & David Arbiso, Jon Carter & Heidi Coleman, Kyle & Amy Carter, Patricia Meads, Sue Paddison, Tony Carter, Jeremy Carter, Jackson Carter, Grace Leonard, Alison Carter, Georgia Leonard, Jackson Carter, Justin Carter, Lydia Carter, Addalyn Carter, Bailee Carter, and other family and friends. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to England Family Mortuary, Inc.
