Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Early memories of dad are of Virginia. Rick and I were into sword fighting, a Roman thing. We asked dad to make us some swords and shields out some spare wood in the basement. (Not a good idea). Next there was a flood, water rising quickly and he took me on his shoulders to safety. I thought this was amazing until Rick told me about the military transport taking him an mom to the same place.
In Florida he would flex his biceps in the middle of the house as we hung on his arms.

I remember dad dressed in his dress blues for a commendation presented to him while we were stationed on March AFB. A proud moment for him and us.
Finally I remember him shoveling dirt around on his property on the “Hill”. Standing proudly surveying all the trees he had planted and the house he built. Undoubtedly completing a vision he had since childhood.

    Rest in peace

  2. So many memories you lhave left for us. Your smiles, laughter, flowers, fresh fruit and music will keep your memory alive..Your funny voice mails and photos of good times and places will too. So grateful for you raising a good son, man and now my husband. You will be forever missed and will live in our hearts.

  3. The very first time I met you in person will be etched in my heart always. I got off the plane and you were standing there with a bouquet of flowers with Theresa by your side You made me and my sister, who accompanied me on this trip feel welcomed. The time I spent with you was very welcoming and loving right away I did not feel as an outsider. The fact that I gained three brothers. was a treat. I will always love you.

  4. Uncle, your smiling large reunited with Aunt Theresa. My family will never forget your visits to MA, staying with my family and how much you couldn’t wait to eat at the diner down the street that you loved…you and auntie walking there early in the morning and couldn’t wait for the rest of us to get up! Also Having to hide you & aunt theresa at my house when you flew out to surprise my parents for their anniversary….fun times & great memories! My kids were excited when they knew you were coming to visit! We had fun when you were here and miss those times! Happy to know you are at peace now and you will be missed. Until our paths meet again RIP.

  5. Manuel V. Mojarro,
