Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. “Mr. Câ€—Thank you for being a part of our family by taking care of our Olivia at JES BASES in kindergarten. She remembers you fondly and was terribly saddened when we had to move away. I will always remember when she drew you a map from BASES to our house so you could bring your Mom to our moving/yard sale. Your smile and memory will never be forgotten… Aloha`oe Marco, until we meet again. :hibiscus:

Condolences and prayers to the Contreras Family and all Marco’s friends at this sad time.

  2. Marco was always smiling and had the biggest heart. He loved the kids of BASES and he could always be found doing some activity with them. More times than not, he would be playing basketball, some type of card game, chess, or video games. He has left a legacy of kindness and fun with all of us at BASES. He will be missed! We will do our best to make him proud and continue his legacy.

  3. Marco was an amazing person with a big heart. He was such a gentle and kind person. My son is 7 years old and devastated that he will never see Mr. C again because Marco always made sure that my son felt loved. Marco always knew how to help my son, who has autism, and teach him how to express himself. Marco had such a HUGE influence on the man that my son will become, in just the year that they spent together. Last night my son slept with a toy that Marco gave him on the last day of school, with tears in his eyes, but he said that he know he will see Mr.C in heaven again. God Bless you Marco, rest in peace, and my prayers to the family.

  4. Marco, my friend, I cant begin to tell you how much we miss you. You’ve been such a huge part of our family for the past few years and have made more of an influence than you would ever think. You’ve watched my babies grow up and been an uncle to them. You were there through some hard times with us and pulled us through. You never judged and gave everyone the benefit of a doubt. I’m happy to see so many people loved you as much as we do and saw the amazing man you are. Watch over us, your family, friends and especially Kim. Love you Mr C.

  5. Marco, you had a big heart and you filled a room with your joyfulness. I was very fortunate to have worked with you. Your light will shine always.

  6. My daughter went to the summer bases and said that the little girls there would call him Mr. handsome Antonio. She is 5 and he was so loved by the kids!

  7. My favorite memory of Marco is watching him pick up the kindergartners here at Vintage Hills Elementary School. He always stopped by the office to say hello with his radiant smile. Marco would then gather up the kindergartners and would walk backwards all the way back to BASES so that he would always have his eyes on the children. I loved that about him. I miss you Marco! Rest in Peace my friend.

  8. The children you served everyday loved you. As a teacher, I so admired your dedication to helping them with academic and social issues. You knew them all well. Bless you.
