Margaret Clifftine Bolton

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Margaret Clifftine Bolton on March 24, 2022, as a patient at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She had suffered a lengthy battle with recurring respiratory issues along with other health maladies. She was predeceased by both parents, Crimuel and Lila Whiteside. She is survived by her loving husband, Jon Bolton; her cousins Audrey Coleman and Pauline Perkins, both of Los Angeles; Georgia Brown, a sister-in-law of Columbus, Ohio; Grady Bolton, a brother-in-law, of Crawford, Georgia; and a number of cousins, in-laws, and friends. Margaret was born in Collinsville, Alabama and was affectionately known by family members and close friends simply as "Cliff." She accepted Jesus Christ in her life at a young age and was raised with a fervent and practicing Christian belief from which she never departed. Upon completion of high school, she attended and graduated from Selma University and A&M College in the State of Alabama. During her early adult years, she relocated to the Los Angeles area, where she was employed by major law firms for well over two decades. In addition to her success in the legal field, her personal interest ran the creative gamut. During her leisure time, she enrolled in schools of fashion design and creative arts. Those endeavors led to the creation of a floral design business. During her efforts in floral design, she won several First Place Awards in national design competition. Margaret always loved her church, where she sang in the choir and was a soloist on special occasions. She was a former Deaconess and cherished the love of church members as well as the pastoral staff alike. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
