Mark Thomas Peterson, age 69, passed away on January 20, 2024. He was born on January 17, 1955.

Mark Peterson was such a sweet and funny friend. He made many of us enjoy classes, sporting events, and activities at our high school so much more because of his presence and enthusiasm. Mark holds a special place in my heart as my first boyfriend. We had some crazy adventures as teenagers! He taught me how to drive his stick shift van. We would take his youngest brother, John (then age 4), on dates with us, even to the beach. My decision to go to Cal Poly University, Pomona, was because that was where he was going. However, like many teenage romances, we drifted apart. But whenever I think of those days, it is with affection and happy memories. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
