Mitzie Komiyama Roderick

Mitzie K. Roderick passed away on December 16th, 2020 of heart failure. She was 84 years old and had a very fruitful and enjoyable life. She is survived by her only child and son, Shuichi. After she was brought to England Family Mortuary in Murrieta, CA, her funeral service was held at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks Memorial Park in Westlake Village, CA on January 7, 2021. She is resting beside her beloved husband, Rex. After her husband passed away, she always believed that she was being "called" by her husband and that he would always wait for her. Now, she is joyfully with God and her beloved husband, Rex. After moving to the U.S., she loved to travel around the world with Rex, especially on cruise ships. They traveled to all of Western and Eastern Europe, to the Orient and to the tropics as Bali, Fiji, Tahiti and of course, Alaska, Hawaii and Key West, FL. She became a U.S. Citizen in the 1980s' and has enjoyed living in Southern California ever since. She was a strong and vibrant woman. She was a great mother. Everyone will miss her smiles and her spunk. May God Bless Her Sole.
