Paul Calabrase

Paul Calabrase age 50, entered Heaven on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born on February 24, 1971 in Livingston, NJ and Blessed to his parents, Leo and Maria Calabrase and sister Julie, age 3. The family moved to California in July 1972. Paul grew up in Rancho Bernardo in San Diego and went to elementary School there, was a Graduate of Mt. Carmel H.S, and graduated from U.C. Irvine. Paul was a delightful child, always jovial and talkative. He was very smart and spoke like an adult. Paul was a pleasure to have as a son, as a brother, and to his grandparents. He made many friendships that lasted his whole life.
While growing up in Rancho Bernardo, he played in different sports, but found a love for golf at the early age of 6. We lived on a golf course, so he did not have to go far. As a youngster he would spend many hours on the greens at the Oaks
North Course across the street and would help recover balls at the end of play. He played in San Diego Junior golf, on the Mt. Carmel High School Team, UC Irvine's Golf Team and for a few years on a California Pro Team. He played with many popular golfers like Phil Michelson.
Paul began his work in the Golf Industry with Carbite and later, Tony Duran. He worked with Sky Golf for 20 years, and held the title of National Sales Manager for 15 years. Paul worked with the company to create and test new technology, working closely with important accounts and sales representatives.
He was a devoted father to his Daughter Ashlynn Grace, and always took loving care of his parents. Paul is remembered in the fondest of memories. Left to cherish these memories are his parents, Leo and Maria, his sister Julie, his Daughter Ashlynn, his “little buddy” Bindi (his dog), his many special cousins in New Jersey and other states, his former wife, Jennifer and her whole family who loved him, and his Uncle Michael Cappelluti...
So sorry for your loss. I never met Paul but know he was a great person through his sister. Juli cherished her brother. Sending strength to the whole family to get through this pain. May he Rest In Peace
So sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for you during this sad time. May your memories sustain you all.
