Peggy Joyce Keller, 80, passed away on February 3, 2022, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA. She was born on Friday February 14, 1941, in Savannah, Tennessee. Born to Mr. & Mrs. Franks, an army veteran, and his wife. She grew up in Savannah where she attended catholic school. Being a people person, she was an enterprising retail associate at Anthony’s Department Store, later at JC Penny’s. At times worked in restaurants and bars to make ends meet in providing for her own and others. She loved animal prints & furs, beauty, cocktails & cooking, dancing, entertaining, jewelry, nail art, sewing dresses, steak & lobster, and all things purple. On March 30, 1962 Peggy married Phillip Castillo, in Los Angeles, CA. They were happily married for seven years. On November 21, 1969, she married Walter J Keller, in Los Angeles, CA. They were happily married for several decades until his passing. Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Seleta Maria Castillo of Long Beach, CA and Tena Ollene Caracciolo of Temecula, CA. In addition to her grandchildren Silvestre Castro, Seleta Castro, Samuel Castillo, Sheena Moreno, Secilia Moreno, Casandra Moreno, Humberto Moreno Jr., Anthony Caracciolo, Lauren Caracciolo, Marissa Caracciolo, Sheila Moreno, and Shania Moreno. Peggy was preceded in death by her granddaughter Christina Castro. Please join us in celebrating Peggy’s life as a funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, between 12 Noon to 3PM at England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Ave. Temecula, CA 92590. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow with scattering of her ashes at a later date to be determined off the coast of Long Beach, CA. Thank you to all who prayed, and to those who delivered the brave care she was so deserving of until her passing. Peggy is well known for her good deeds, such as bringing up children, showing hospitality, washing the feet of the Lord’s people, helping those in trouble and devoting herself to all kinds of good deeds.”— 1 Timothy 5:10
