Peter Ned Farry

peter farry
Peter (Pete) Ned Farry, age 49, died suddenly on March 19, 2019 at his home in Fallbrook CA where he lived with his fiancée, Robin, their precious dog Sookie (who also died the same day) and two beautiful horses. Pete grew up in California and lived in the San Francisco Bay area and North County San Diego most of his life. From a very early age, Pete was a gregarious bundle of energy who loved to take things apart and put them back together. He served in the United States Marine Corp, loved hot rod cars and rock music and was a friend to hundreds. Pete was generous and big hearted and always there to help others in need. The last 2 years in Fallbrook with Robin were truly the happiest of Pete’s life. Pete worked with the 4Liberty team for many years supporting SDG&E, VA Hospitals, E Plus, Westfield, MCRD, and other customers as a fiber communication technician and field services support resource. Pete was a Corporal in the U.S. Marines stationed Yuma, Arizona and Okinawa, Japan, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1995. He was also a volunteer with the US Coast Guard. Pete is survived by his fiancée, Robin Smith, his sister, Lisa Farry-Jennings and brother-in-law Trace Jennings, step-mother Karen Kirby (Wiczai) and Robin’s mother Theresa and brother Jim. Pete was preceded in death by his father, Ned Oliver Farry, his mother, Judith Ann Kampf Elliott, his step-father L. James (Jim) Wiczai and his cherished grandparents, George and Elizabeth (Betty) Allen, and Pearl and Bart Farry. Pete was especially close to “Mamie and Poppa” Allen and enjoyed many happy times on their farm in Indiana. All of Pete’s family and friends are devastated by the shocking and sudden loss of this amazing and precious man. A memorial service is being held for Pete with some of his ashes being scattered at sea off Oceanside followed by a color guard ceremony and a gathering of close family and friends. The remainder of his ashes will be placed at Miramar National Cemetery at a later date.
