Richard Dowl Shrum, age 61, passed away at home in Temecula, California with his family by his side on Sunday, February 14, 2010. He was born on December 11, 1948 in Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Carol Knight; and a brother in New York. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at England Family Mortuary in Temecula.The family is accepting flowers as well as donations to the American Cancer Society. I know it’s been a long time since Rick’s passing, but I just found this. I am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. We were the BEST OF FRIENDS growing up in Idaho. Even though his family moved a lot because of his Dad’s work, we remained friends. I’m sorry to say we lost contact after high school and I regret that I was never able to get back in touch with him.
We had a lot of fantastic memories especially during our Boy Scout days.
