Robert Bruce Booher was born January 18 1937, to John and Virginia Booher in Holdridge, Nebraska, and died on December 19, 2010. He was raised with his brother James and sister Janet on the family farm near the town of Naponee. Bob graduated from Republican City High School in 1954, followed by two years at Hastings College. Bob left Nebraska in 1956 to become a Marine Corp jet pilot. He served for 19 years, was decorated with many honors and medals, and achieved the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.While stationed in Hawaii, he met his beautiful wife-to-be, Ann, and they were married December 20, 1959. They have three children: Linda Mann, Bruce Heyer, and Angela Creutzer. He is beloved Grandad to six grandchildren: Tyler, Jonathan, Madison, Noah, Kelsey, and Cassandra. He is uncle Bob to a large crowd of cousins, children of cousins, granchildren of cousins, and their families.Bob was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA, in 1972. After leaving the Corp in 1974, he started Booher Glass in Laguna Beach. Bob and Ann semi-retired to Temecula in 2000 and Bob, an avid golfer, worked part-time as a starter for Temeku Hills Gold and Country Club.Bob was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witness in 1974 and devoted his time generously to his ministry. He served as a ministerial servant with the Temecula Creek congregation.Bob will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.A celebration of his life was held at England Family Chapel on Thursday, December 30, 2010.
