Robert Edward Platte

Robert had a love for the outdoors; such as sightseeing, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Robert worked for over 25 years as a wastewater treatment plant operator, throughout the state of California. Robert had a strong belief in God, and he loved his family.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Vilandry (Sean) of Clovis, NM; and Barbara Carter (Joshua) of Hallsville, MO. Robert has seven grandchildren; Macie, Jacob, Samantha, Hudson, Greyson, Phoenix, and Jadeyn. Two brothers; Kenny, and Bill Platte; one sister Linda Fitzgerald. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, and nephew Jason Fitzgerald.
We are sure our dad is catching fish with his father in Heaven. Thank you dad, for your kindness, compassion, warmth, and mostly love that you showed us throughout the years. We love you, Dad.
A poem Robert wrote
Ask and it will be given to you when done in the right way, Learn to be totally focused and honest without selfishness and ego when you pray; Know that our God can do anything; He is the first and last, The one who can provide a great future and forgive us as we all have sins in our past.
All of the things of this world are temporary and will change as time goes on, Mountains will wear down and all that is alive now will die off and be gone; Life will continue in a cycle because of God’s almighty plan. Appreciate that he has prepared a place for all who believe, every woman, child, and man.
Thank you Barbara
