GOD BLESSED ME WITH THE BEST UNCLE I COULD ASK FOR. I love my uncle Rocky with all my heart. Compared to my very loud family he was like me, always quiet just enjoying people’s presence. He has such a kind soul and loves eating like I do. I hope you enjoyed that big wave you rode into Heaven!!!!!!! Love you always… Chloë
I am beyond blessed because I have had the honor of calling this man my Dad. He taught me so many things in life. He taught me to count, to balance a checkbook, to ride a bike, and to drive a car. He taught me what responsibility meant. Most importantly, he taught me how to love and be loved in return. His love was not always a flowery one and sometimes resulted in discipline (which I’m positive I deserved ) but I would not be who I am today if it weren’t for my Dad.
I will greatly miss our chats, even when they were about nothing. I will miss cracking open a cold brew Bob with you on a hot summer day. I will never forget what a whisker kiss feels like. I will never forget your laugh. I will never forget our summers on the boat and how you taught me to wake board. I will miss our breakfast dates.
You have made such a profound impact on my soul and not a day will go by that I won’t think of you. I love you Dad.
I am one of Rock’s co-workers. I met just under 5 years ago. What a stand up guy. We quickly became friends. When he tried to retire I wouldn’t let him. I scheduled him with every other weekend with me. I enjoyed his company, wit, and even his sense of humor, but most of all his smile. I will miss you Rock.
i love you more than you will ever know, thank you so much for loving me always and understanding me, i miss you so much, i hope youre having fun in heaven!❤
I only knew you well enough to know that, you were a lovingly committed husband and father, and that you were a man of honor and integrity. I will always remember the few fun times that we were able to share together on this earth. “Rock On” my friend. See you on the other side.
I truly believe when God places people in our lives that it is a precious gift sent from heaven and as God knits our hearts together our souls are forever connected. As we go through life our times together are captured in our hearts and minds creating treasured memories that will always remain and will never fade away. The things of this world will fade, but the treasured memories only grow deeper with in our hearts. I am so thankful and blessed that God has knitted our hearts together and I am comforted to know that we are only passing through and will always be together. My love is with you all. Rocky for your name is so fitting for you are the Rock that held, supported, strengthened, guided and loved your family with all that you are. Heidi, let all that he is continue to be just that for you, for He continues to live in and through you and the girls, and know just how deeply you are loved.
When you love, you simply love and I love this family with all of my heart, God bless.
Me and our girls are thinking of you on this warm sunny day. I love and miss you so much. I’m trying to stay strong as you would have wanted me to be. I can’t wait to see you again. I love you honey!

My Dear Brother Rocky
Words will never quite be enough to truly explain how much you have meant to me since I was 9 years old. This is still something I can’t quite put my head around but I LOVE YOU ROCKY. You have been the epitome of the Ideal and Perfect Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Co-worker, Friend, Neighbor and the list goes on and on. You have brought so much Joy, Laughter and Memories to my life. Your heart and soul are divine. Always being the peace maker and kindred spirit of the family. Your laugh was infectious. Your life was dedicated to your family and assuring everyone was always taken care of. Your legacy will forever live on and I assure you that Heidi, Brit and Court will be in the best of hands…Our whole family makes that promise to you and to God. Until we meet again, thank you Rocky for brightening my life and being the brother I will never forget ~ Heather
My first memory of Rock goes back to 1994 when I was dating my husband who lived across the street from the Engemans. I accidently triggered the house alarm by opening up the garage door and then realized I didnt have the house key and Bill wasn’t home yet. The darn alarm started screeching but fortunately Rocky was out in his garage (what else is new?) and I ran over there and he let me use his phone to call the alarm company and then he ran back over to the house with me and used his credit card to open the door so I could turn that loud thing off. We were buddies from that point on. That act of kindness was just the first of a million things that Rocky did for me and our neighborhood. We were neighbors til 2009 when we moved a few miles away. But I always saw him at Lake Chevrolet (of course I bought my car from him and so did my husband) every time I got my oil changed and we would catch up. He had a heart of gold and a mind like a steel trap, oh, the way he could work with numbers I often thought he missed his calling as either math teacher or an accountant. We had so many good times together playing poker; block parties; and just shooting the bull. I will miss you for a long, long, long, time my friend! You had a heart of gold and always did the right thing. A stand up guy were. My respect for you will endure and my heart aches for your family. Love, your nosy neighbor, Nancy
Rocky I remember the many adventures you had with my brother Darryl. As young men you were such a great friend to him. Your surfing days are legendary. Your Rocks Racks with forever be a part of your legacy. When we talked about you yesterday he was so so sad to hear of your passing and hoped to see you in heaven. Darryl isn’t well and has serious COPD but he so wished you had one last adventure together. He said you were truly his BEST FRIEND EVER! Heidi & family we send our love and prayers.

Rocky was my brother in law, but I always chose to call him my brother, He was always there for me in my darkest times. I told him when he married my twin sister Heidi, he will be marrying me too because we will always be attached to the hip, he laughed! But he proved it by always welcoming me to be around, he always treated me just like his sister. I love you Rocky! Your will hold a special place in my heart forever until I see you again. Our times on the boat and our houseboat vacation will me in my memories forever. Your love, your smile, your kindness will be missed until I see you again. I love you so!
Rocky, you made me feel like family from the first Christmas I spent with the whole Corwin family and all the events after that. You always made us laugh and you told things just how they were, very direct but always loving. Your kind loving spirit did not go unnoticed. I saw what a loving husband and father looks like. You set a wonderful example for your children. I feel so lucky and blessed that I got to spend this past Christmas with you. It was a wonderful day. May you Rest In Peace and may your family know that you are forever watching over them.
