Susan Elizabeth Eynon

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Susie’s name to St. Jude.
Attire for the celebration of life is business casual. No ties or jeans, please. If you would like to wear something pink in honor of Susie’s favorite color, that would be welcome but is not required. Examples for men: a pink shirt, pink pocket square or pink socks.
Susan Elizabeth Eynon passed away at home on January 29, 2020 surrounded by family. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nana who is survived by her husband, Dennis, four sons, Mike, Brian, Ken and Tom, and 14 grandchildren.
Susie was born in China Lake, California in 1948. She lived in many places in California. In 2003 she and Denny moved to Nevada, and in 2014 they settled in Menifee to be close to many of their grandchildren. Babies and children were her first love. Through volunteering at the De Groot Nursing Home for disabled children and her own childcare business she touched the lives of over 100 children.
She was an admired artist who loved to knit, sew and sculpt. She enjoyed laughing and playing games. During her time in Nevada she blossomed as an artist and looked forward to playing nickel keno, mostly for the people watching. Susie and Denny saw most corners of the world on the 29 cruises they enjoyed together.
In 2013 she was diagnosed with logopenic progressive aphasia. She fought the disease with dignity, courage, grace and the support of her loved ones.
Her love and enthusiasm for life will be missed by all who knew her.
So sorry to hear of your loss, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
