Theodore Fowler Belden

My name is Sandra Rideout. I wish to share my condolences with Ted’s family. My grandmother was Amber Fowler Rideout, a sister of Ted’s mother, Coral. Amber’s son Eldon (1925-1997), was my father and he married Margaret Hogg (1926-2009), my mother, in 1948. I was born in 1952. I remember visiting Ted and Bunny many years ago, when I was not very old — maybe 10? But I don’t think we drove all the way to California…maybe we met them in Washington State? I’m afraid I don’t remember.
One of my identifying features is that I have one brown/green eye and one blue eye. Ted’s aunt Sarah Emerald had a similar feature. I’m always curious to know if anyone else has come up in the family somewhere. Seems to me your clan may have the best chance of anyone! I myself do not have children.
Today I was visiting with my cousin Barbara (whose mother was Amber and Clarence’s youngest daughter, Donna) and we got talking about all the relatives we don’t know. So of course, Ted, Bunny, and the 6 girls all came up. We enjoyed looking through all the photos on the Memorial Service video so much.
My sincere condolences on the loss of Ted. I will never forget my first horse ride with him, wherever we were!
