William Gayle French

William (Bill) Gayle French, 73, residing in Temecula, California, born in Cleveland Ohio,
passed away February 13, 2021 in Kaiser Hospital, San Diego, California, with his wife and
children at his side.
Bill graduated from Westminster High School and National University where he received his BA
and MBA. He was an Army Veteran. He worked for many years as a Computer
Specialist/Programmer for the US Government. He then entered the world of Home Health
Care. He, along with wife, Sally owned and operated Preferred Home Health and Preferred
Home Care for twenty plus years based in Escondido. Bill made sure his staff weren’t just
Employees, but became Family.
Bill spent many years coaching youth sports instilling not just game skills into his players but
team play, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. He enjoyed Golf. Family, Friends, and Work
Gatherings were common with lots of fun for everyone and usually turned into a Karaoke Fest.
His passion was traveling including many road trips, always visiting Family and Friends, all over
the US, and multiple cruises. He thoroughly loved and enjoyed his family and was happy and
proud to become a Grandfather (PaPa). He was always ready for an adventure, especially an
Amusement Park, and usually with Grandchildren.
Bill’s parents were William C. French and Myrtle Irene French, both deceased. Bill’s children
include Shannon Marie French, William Gayle French III, daughter-in-law Rachel, and Kristin
Ann Juve, son-in-law Troy. His siblings include Ellen Lockwood/husband Robert, Richard
French (recently deceased)/wife Barbara, Tamara Montagne, and Dennis French. Bill had
seven Grandchildren, Jacob, Justin, Georgia, Jenna, Liam, Peter, and Felicia.
Bill and wife Sally were due to celebrate their 47 wedding anniversary in June. Bill always said
that he and Sally were a “Team” and did everything together each and every day.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the England Family Mortuary, 27135 Madison Ave,
Temecula Ca, 92590 on Monday March 8, 2021, officiated by Pastor Britt Sipes. Interment will
follow in the Riverside National Cemetery. The Family suggests in lieu of flowers to make a
donation in Bill’s name to your favorite charity.
