Dad …. I love you always and forever! I will MISS YOU SO MUCH.
William Richard Warrick

William Richard Warrick, 84
1937 – 2022
William Richard Warrick was born on December 4th, 1937, in the small farming town of Grassland, Texas to Robert Aaron Warrick and Nancy Emma Ward. “Dick”, as he was referred for most of his life, was the youngest of three children and spent his entire youth in the great state of Texas. In high school, he played football and learned the ins and outs of carpentry from his stepfather, Jimmy.
In 1955, Dick joined the Air Force as a photogrammetrist, drawing maps by hand that would be used for future military planning. After finishing his service, Dick spent the majority of his working life in the construction industry, building major freeways, apartment complexes and homes throughout Southern California, earning respect for being an honest, hard worker from nearly everyone he came in contact with. He owned his own construction business alongside his business partner Steve Gray for 27 years, until his retirement in the early 2000s.
Just behind God, his family, and America, Dick loved golf more than anything. Throughout his lifetime, Dick sunk four hole-in-ones–an accomplishment he proudly displayed on his truck’s license plate as “ACE x 4”.
Over the past couple of decades, Dick got the opportunity to travel the world with his wife, Penny, visiting places like Israel, Italy, Panama, Nicaragua and more. Earlier this year, he and Penny celebrated 50 happy years of marriage and making memories together.
Dick was a dedicated Christian. His warm smile, generosity, and thoughtfulness will be missed by all who knew him.
