Alyshia Elizabeth Paine, 29, was born on February 16, 1986, in Vista, California the daughter of Jeffery Glenn Paine and Jennifer Jean (Holten) Ricco. She attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, CA and Hart High School in Newhall, California. Alyshia worked at several food service establishments throughout the years. She moved to Dunnell, Minnesota in July, 2007 to live with her Aunt and Uncle. Alyshia last resided in Mankato, Minnesota. On Wednesday, March 4th, 2015, Alyshia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in San Diego, California. Alyshia loved the beaches of Southern California, she traveled to Greece and England, and she loved animals with cats and dogs being her favorite. She had a strong interest in her family ancestry and while in England she visited the town where her Great Grandpa Ling’s family lived. Alyshia enjoyed music listening to a variety of rock, alternative rock, and punk. Alyshia had a very special relationship with her brother Brett. They were “Brett and Alyshia”, inseparable in their early years. She adored her younger brother Dylan and her little sister Justyne. She was an awesome “Sissy”! Alyshia began the last seven years of her life in Minnesota surrounded with love and steadfastly supported by parents, step parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. She developed many friends in Minnesota, who also tried to help her along a peaceful path with affection and the willingness to understand. Over the years Alyshia also developed a very special, loving relationship with a good young man, Ryan Goette, his son Zander and his family. Alyshia is survived by her parents: Jeff (Gina) Paine of Murrieta, CA and Jennifer (Gary) Ricco of Stevenson Ranch, CA; brothers Brett Paine of Tehachapi, CA and Dylan Ricco of Stevenson Ranch, CA; sister Justyne Paine of Murrieta, CA; step grandmother Joanne Viti of Cullom, IL; aunts Chris (Redgy) Kiesow of Sioux Falls, SD, Michele (Tim) Doll of Dunnell, MN, Robin (John) Tracy of Grand Forks, ND, Samantha Stanek and Casey Berryhill of Grant Park, IL; uncles Kris Stanek of Chicago, IL, Sean (Theresa) Stank of Pontiac, IL, Brian (Olivia) Stanek of Mahomet, IL, Nicolas (Breana) Stanek of Sicily, Italy, and Roger Vit of Cullom, IL; and numerous cousins. Alyshia was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed and Lucille Paine of Alexandria, MN; Richard and Elizabeth Holten (adoptive) of White Bear Lake, MN; Stanley and Ruth Stanek (biological) of Chicago, IL.
