Andrell Lawrence Wallace was the fifth of seven children born to the union of Eddie and Beulah Wallace on January 7, 1932 in Grapeland, Texas. His family relocated from Grapeland to Dallas, Texas in 1942. He attended public schools in Grapeland and Dallas. While in Dallas he was a member of the Munger Avenue Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Bernard O. Bird. He moved from Dallas, Texas to Los Angeles, California in December 1959. He met and married Christine H. Patrick July 15, 1967. To this union, one child was born, Chandi Adrianne Wallace-Kornegay. He and his family moved to Los Angeles to Ontario, California in November 1974 and moved to Temecula, California in December 1997. He was a merchandiser for Anita Shops, store manager for White Front, Zodys and Builders' Emporium. He retired as store manager of Builders Emporium in September 1993. After retirement, he became a bus driver for, Ontario-Montclair School District, Chaffey Union High School District, and Temecula Unified School District. Andrell confessed Christ at an early age and remained true to his faith until the Lord called him home on Thursday, August 26, 2021. He was a faithful member of the Bethany Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor R. R. Johnson (and later Pastor Dr. L. A. Kesse) for over 30 years. He became a member of the Mountain View Community Church in September 1998 under the leadership of Pastor Dr. John W. Wells (where he was ordained a deacon). Later the church name was changed to The View Church under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Perkins. He served in many capacities such as President of the Pastor's Aid at Bethany Baptist Church, and at Mountain View he was the Chair of the E-Team, Deacon, member of the Men's Ministry and at The View Church very active in Bible Study, Titus II and Men's Ministry. Andrell lived his life to the fullest. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, cousin and friend. He enjoyed yard work, working around the house, fishing, watching westerns and playing dominos. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to others. He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his wife of 54 years, Christine Wallace of Temecula, California; one daughter, Chandi Adrianee Wallace-Kornegay of Temecula, California, a special daughter, Heidi Newton of Banning, California; two adorable grandchildren Brody Andrell Kornegay and Gage Samuel Kornegay of Temecula, California; one sister, Verneda Parson (DeWitt) of DeSoto, Texas; one brother, Eddie Wallace of Lennox, California; godchildren, Lamonte Hilliard, Gerald Tillman, Damita Ahman, Michael Archer, Daniel Burrus, Jr; Gabrielle McClanahan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Andrell was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Wallace; mother, Beulah Wallace; three sisters, Mary Calvin, Fannie White and Joanna Wallace; and one brother, Arthur Wallace.
