Brent, you were a good friend, mate. Thanks for the many laughs we shared, and for all the sweet music we made together while jamming… not to mention all the other projects you were part of and brought to fruition at the studio. You were always the consumate pro, bringing a combination of responsibility, integrity and joy to whatever music you helped create. Once music is out there in the cosmos, it goes on forever, brother! Sincere condolences to the entire extended Walsh family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am so thankful to have been able to see and visit with Brent before his passing. My mother took care of Brent when he was just a little guy the first few years of his life, in Nebraska. This was during my high school years, so I got to know him pretty well. Then they moved to California. I did get to see him while I was stationed in California during my tour with the Navy. (1967-1971) I hadn’t seen him very much in the past 40 years, except for a few times. I will miss him dearly. The thunder in the heavens will be Brent playing that golden drum kit in God’s select band.
My condolences go out to Brents family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Brent was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever known. Though I hadn’t seen him in years, I’ll always cherish the good times and laughs we shared. God bless you all.
